About
NOVA Business Agency is owned and operated by Marcia Sheehan, serial solopreneur (2013 - 2022) turned full-time employee (2022 - 2024) and now agency owner.
Over the past few years, Marcia worked as a fundraising events Director at a non-profit organization with over 50 employees and a VP of Marketing and Business Development at a family-owned luxury builder with a handful of employees.
These extremely different full-time work experiences provided her with valuable insights on leadership and teamwork. Where in the past she was a lone ranger, both of these roles prepared her to re-enter the world of small business ownership with a growth-oriented mindset steeped in servitude.
Marcia knows how crucial it is for an owner to work with the right people for a business to thrive. With experience in basically every field (banking, real estate, pharmaceuticals, government, restaurants, hospitality, retail, online businesses, etc) she is well-equipped to help identify and implement improvements.
She loves helping businesses develop clear operations making everyone’s lives easier. She does this through SOP discovery and development, branding and marketing through engaging events, and ensuring clients have a wonderful experience which brings them back repeatedly for more.
Marcia credits growing up in the Air Force with her love of project based timelines. She will give it all she’s got but if there’s no end date in sight, she will likely run. Hence our tagline: Short-Term Support for Long-Term Success.

But wait, there’s more!
In addition to branding and operations support for small business owners with NOVA Business Agency, Marcia co-hosts a podcast with her biz bestie of 12+ years.
In the podcast they talk strategy but also focus a lot on the emotional experience of being an entrepreneur. No fluff, just Honest Convos.
Carin & Marcia launched the Success Secret Society membership in August 2025 to provide support and strategy to women entrepreneurs.
